IE 7 has some significate security improvements over IE6 . . uninstalling it will leave you vulnerable. . . and has caused other issues for some.
If you still want to uninstall, in Add/Remove Programs, put a check in the "Show Updates" box at the top of the page . . it should then appear on the list.

i would leave it in the system. if you want it to look like IE6 ,just click on tools ,click on menu bar.

i didn't like it at first but a few tweaks and it looks and runs like IE6.

It's a crap shoot . . IE is very tightly intergrated into the Operating System . . it is more than just a Browser. As I said, many have had issues after uninstalling it

Now when I do that, it gives me a list of things that might not run properly, will this still apply if he only upgraded this morning? Would it affect those item??
