Hey,

Everytime I download a program, say mIRC or something, when I try to open up the install program it says Encountered a problem and needs to close. The mod name always says nview.dll aswell, so I don't know if that has something to do with all this. Anyway it is really starting to bug me and I really need help with this, as I try to install anything I need like an update for Black Hawk Down game or mIRC or winrar it all comes up with encountered a problem.

Can anyone help me with this because I really need help with it?

The error signature says

AppName: mirc63.exe AppVer: 6.3.0.0 ModName: nview.dll
ModVer: 6.13.10.3190 Offset: 00009ddf

It says this for just about anything.
Thanks

I think it started to do this when I did a system restore a few months ago. Did it delete files I needed?

If you are only using one monitor you could try renaming the file from nview.dll to something else . Don't delete the file in case you encounter different problems after renaming it .
I would also go to your PC manufacturer's website (not nVidia's website) and get the latest drivers for your nvidia card .
