Hello Everyone!!
I'm having trouble at starting up my computer, it say's Msgsrv32 Illegal operation etc... and here comes next...
"MSGSRV32 caused a general protection fault in module COMMCTRL.DLL"...

Can anybody tell me why I'm having this kind of problem? It just happens when I installed a new hardware CD/DVD Liteon in it. But when I tried to remove that device again, The startup error is still there. Now when I try to boot from cd to have a clean install, it says something like "Invalid Media" and won't boot at all.

A step by step solution would really help a lot and would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance to those who can help me out here in this gigantic problem I have.

Hi, I followed that instruction and manage to reformat the computer and install windows 98, but there seems to be an error when I try to connect to our local network..

Actually, our network here is automatic, all we need to do is follow the instructions we have here in our manual and connect the LAN Cable..

But when I try to log-in, this error comes up:

"MICROSOFT NETWORKING"
No Domain Server was available to validate your password. You may not be able to gain access to some network resources.

I"ve checked the plug 3x and did not found any problem because when I connect it to some computer who's already in the network.. it is connecting to the server.

Any idea why this is happening?
Thanks in advance...
