We just got a Dell Vostro 1400 with Vista Home Basic. Got this connected to our wireless system and even installed the printer (HP 3845) after some trials. After reading all the issues am able to see the printer and start to print....therein lies the problem. After starting to print pages from the Vostro, about 1/2 way through the document goes into error (the printer, on a wireless-G printserver prints about 1/2 the document and hangs). Not only do I have to reset the printer and printserver to allow the other PC's on the network (XP-based) to print, but I can't purge the document on the Vostro.... Can anyone give me a clue how to get the printer to print the complete documents and not hang? Thanks.

Have looked at this. It appears that there isn't interference because I can print from the XP computer almost immediately after resetting everything. Also, have moved around the Vostro and get the same result. The printing jobs end up printing about 1/2 a page (doesn't matter what the source) before hanging.

Since your using wireless connection to your printer...have you check if there are any interference with the connection such mobile phones, microwave, phone..etc. This is some of the things that mcan cause interfere with your wireless connection.
