I am trying to make a presentation. I would like to play a song as slides change. I added music using the slide transition button but it stops as each slide changes. How do I fix this. I tried putting a check mark in the place where it says loop and it still didn't work.

If you want the same piece of music to play during the entire slideshow this is what you do:

1. Be on the first slide and then go to insert, then movies and sounds and then select music.

2. Then go to slide show, custom animation

3. on the right side of screen you will see the song you selected with a down arror...select effect options

4. on the stop playing portion put the number of the last slide

it will now play thru all the slides

Thank you! One more question if you don't mind. Why won't the slides change when I click view. I went into transition and put a check mark in advance automatically and set the time for 3 seconds and the slides don't change. Any ideas? Thanks again

I don't know the answer to your question, but loop will only work as long as you are on the same slide, the music will loop until you get to the next slide.

Under slide transition did you select apply to all slides ?
