I had problems with word, in that as soon as I clicked on it to open it up, it closed within about 10 seconds. I put a post on here, which has more details, see further down. I thought that the problem was solved. However, one thing I forgot to do was try to save a new word document, soon as I tried to save it came up with the following message: Word has insufficient memory. do you want to save document 1 as rescued document. When I open a previously saved worddocument and change it, that has no problem.
second point is reference powerpoint. I open that and try and save that and it comes up with the following: fretrysdmerror An error occured while creating a file dialog. please save presentations, exit and then restart powerpoint. It wont let me save the presentations.
Both of these applications plus a couple more are part of MS Office 2000
Any ideas
Neil
