I've got an MS org chart inserted into a PPT presentation. I open the presentation and click on the org chart, then I right click and choose MS Org Chart Object/Edit. I edit the chart, then go to File, Exit and return to presentation. When I'm prompted to save the chart because of changes, I choose yes. When I'm back in the presentation my chart is no longer on the slide but has no blown up to gigantic proprtions. (This took me quite some time to figure out! At first I thought the object had just disappeared!)

Ok, so now that I know it's still there and just too big, I right click and choose Format object. Now here's the problem...it won't let me resize! I try to go to the size tab, but instead I get the message "The measurement must be between 0% and 10675%." Well, I'm trying to fix that, but it won't let me!!!

Help, anybody? I'll try anything! Thanks in advance!

Here's what I would do.

Open the org chart.
Hit File-Save copy as.
Save it as an org chart file.
Now try inserting that file into a new presentation...or at least a new slide.

Or email me the file and I'll see what I can do.

Ok.

You must choose Insert-Object-From file...and then browse to the file you saved.

I'm using PPT 2000.

I tried the save copy as. Now I can't insert it into a new presentation or a new slide. I went to Insert, Picture, Org Chart. I get a new org chart, and it won't let me choose an existing one to insert. Am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately, I can't email it to you. The org chart has confidential info in it for a client.

If this becomes to long and drawn out, it may be easier just to recreate the chart. But I'll try some more suggestions!

Thanks!
