Hello, I train a lot of people on how to run a presentation using PowerPoint. I generally tell people to use the arrow keys to advance the slides rather than the mouse, for the simple fact that if you use the arrow keys, you can go forward and backward. Today I was helping someone that had a couple of movie clips in their presentation. There are two .mpg files, and one .mov file. The clips are set up to run automatically. We noticed that after they play, and you push the arrow key to jump to the next slide, no problem. However, when you try to advance past that, suddenly, the arrow keys don't work! It is as if the computer is locked up, but it isn't. None of the keys on the keyboard work. You can't even esc. out of the presentation. The only way to advance is to click the left mouse button. After you have advanced using the mouse, then all the keys work again. What is causing this???
Any ideas?
Thanks,
