Does anyone know how to do this? Can anyone explain it to someone who rarely uses macros?

Thanks.

I'd like to know if a macro can run when a user clicks to the next slide (instead of them having to click on an action button or on an object)

Okie dokie. Make sure you look at the sample file too, it's got about everything you need. It's a pain with PowerPoint because the events do not initialize themselves.

Can you explain your concept of "automatically"? What do you mean? Explain an example please.
