Does anyone know how to do this? Can anyone explain it to someone who rarely uses macros?

Okie dokie. Make sure you look at the sample file too, it's got about everything you need. It's a pain with PowerPoint because the events do not initialize themselves.

Can you explain your concept of "automatically"? What do you mean? Explain an example please.

That is the best thing I've seen about what I am looking for. and yes it IS complicated. I hope I can figure out how to do it. I'll write back if I need more help.
