Instead of the usual cell references like C5 or B2, I have the following showing up:

=SUMPRODUCT(R[-7]C:R[-2]C,R[-7]C[1]:R[-2]C[1])

Which is doing the sum product of cells in B4:B7 and C4:C7. .... BUT... what I'm just noticing now is that my columns are not letters anymore, but numbers.

Help?

Thanks. At least the cause was the same!

"The Ribbon"?

BTW Shouldn't one UNselect the R1C1 Reference Style? In previous versions, that's the cause.

To my view, the learning curve will be harder the more you know the application. This is probably a very obvious thing to say, but there it is.

What I mean is, as power users, we know what we want, and where it used to be, but can't find it in the new UI. For a brand new user, though, the UI is far more logical. I think MS actually did a fairly good job of making it more accessible for new and relatively inexperienced users. They'll be able to get up to speed quicker, as the most used items (for many) are up front and centre, not buried like they used to be.

I agree on the customization aspects though.

What does "OP" stand for? I thought it must be the one who opened the thread, but I'm curious of the exact words.
THX.
