Lately Word 2002 (Windows XP Home Edition) is constantly 'not responding', especially after I have highlighted some text on the web and then tried to copy it into a Word document. It's very irritating! When I click on "more Information" in the error message I get the following:

Please advise me how to correct this. Should I try to reinstall Word and if so, will I lose all my files? If i need to upgrade to a newer version of Word what is the easiest and cheapest way to do this? Thanks--I am not computer savvy!
