First off this isn't a printing problem, this problem is literally with the program as I see it on my monitor. Suddenly the entire window has been shoved down half an inch or so and even when it's maximized- the bottom of word extends to below my monitor's view, so I can't see what page I'm on, how many characters on the page, etc. At the same time there's this gap at the top, because the window no longer reaches the top of the monitor. I can minimize the window and see it all that way, but I really don't like working in a minimized window. I just want word to fill up the entire monitor screen, with nothing cut off. I'm pretty sure there's a way to configure word to do this, but I have no idea how. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Well amazingly the problem seems to have fixed itself. Which is frustrating a little because I like to know WHY something works (so I can fix it the next time it breaks, etc). But in the meantime I guess just having it work is good enough and I thank you guys for the input. I really appreciate it.

Cheers,

Snaithbert

Operating in minimised mode, manually drag and size the window to fit the screen?

I always run in minimised mode but manually set at full screen size, as it makes moving applications between dual monitors simple.
