I am soon to upgrade some computers to Windows 2000. And im also getting a Windows 2000 Server. Now Im going to use 2 programs that run under the SQL engine. Dose SQL server have to be installed on the Windows 2000 server? or will the programs come with it built in? Iv never used or installed SQL Server befor. I dont have a clear understanding of SQL. Is it like access? Is it just a database? Is SQL server used to create a database? Thanks to any one that can help.
