Hello everyone,
I desparately need your help in this issue:

Problem:
I am running Sql server 2000 on an NT4 machine, but on Tuesday i got an error message:-

Warning State: S1T00,Native:0, Origin: [Microsoft][ODBC
SQL Server Driver] timeout error

What may cause this sort of error and how t prevent it??
The developers of this product said that a modem dial-in may have caused it. I do not believe this claim, but i needto know what caused and how to prevent re-occurances

thank you

A..

This is a very generic timeout warning. It's a warning, no error. I wouldn't worry too much unless you see this very frequently in your log. Anyway, there is little info in the error message you posted to find the source of the timeout.
