I have had Windows 2000 since August 2004 and in the last 2-3 months, I began receiving the following error message while using Windows Explorer:

Explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.
You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

Its documented on the microsoft web site but its cause is either Internet explorer 6 with a program or service that is incompatible with Internet explore 6 or some other program I don't have on my computer, (its name I can't recall at this writing).

I'm using Windows 2000 SP4 Pro Edition on an IBM Thinkpad T20.

Any Ideas?
