I did all that, a couple of them just had to click on set up, a couple of other ones I extracted the files to a cd-rom and then pointed the adapter to that I have tried every which way. How do I know it didn't work? first the screen did not get any clearer, actually the desktop looks good except for a couple of the Icons but when you open up progarms like adware or spybot it looks like they were opened in safe mode. One of the ones where you just had to click setup they ran through there setup but nothing change for clearness wise, and then one ran but said it wasn't for windows 2000 so you see I have tried all that. I was just wondering is I had the wrong drivers then they would not improve anything. And also everytime I was done even tho the drivers ran, if you went back into the device manager and adapters and then looked at the driver tab you could see the driver had not changed. Does anyone have any other ideas or no exactly what driver I need??

What do you mean when you say full specs? all the stuff from system infomation, or I do have everest on it, tell me what you need to see and I would be very glad to find it and get it on here for you, anything to help me get this done. My son is coming over to watch football tomorrow and I was hoping to be able to surprise him and have it done but things aren't looking up very much, but who knows, maybe. Anyway let me know what you want and I will get it for you. Thanks

Howdy folks...
xfile47...
Was the video working before the install of SP3 ?
If so you can extract these files from the W2K Pro CD and put them in the C:\Winnt\inf folder, and reinstall the video...
trid3d.PNF trid3d.inf
Just take the ones that are there, and cut and paste them somewhere else...

The CyberBlade i7 is an onboard graphics chip designed jointly by Trident and VIA and it is incorporated in the VT8601 North Bridge chip. As a result VIA does provide a driver for it at their website: http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx...0&SubCatID=108

Yes I tried I think4 drivers from driverguide.com I just tried another one and nothing works, they all either said cyberblade i7 or something to that effect none of them work. you know how things look on your computer when your in safemode? Well thats the way most of it looks but the computer is not in safemode. Anyway I am very frustrated with this thing. Here is all the info I have and if someone could find me a driver or point me to it that would be great. I also tried to or three other sites. Here is all the info I have.
Trident Video Accelerator CyberBlade-i7 Driver 5.0.2145.32 I believe it said 1999 from Trident Microsystems Inc (I could find nothing on their site) file version 5.00.2185.0032 1990-1998 Also in system info it says Trident Blade 3D/Promedia 640x480x60 Hertz 8 pixel

When you say none of them work, if they are zipped files unzip them to a folder on your desktop, then go into device manager and under video adaptor click on update and point the update to the folder you created on your desktop.
