I have created a dial-up connection on a Windows 2000 PC, and copied it to the desktop of every account. I tell it to save the password, which is, by the way, unique and it just goes back to what I assume is my logon password every time I open it (Same amount of characters)

How do I get it to SAVE it?

Thanks,
J.S.

Love my life!!

Wow...It worked. Thanks kiwiguy. I always look for something more complicated and just saw that and said that's the wrong password.

Thanks.

The number of characters "indicated" has no bearing on the password length that is behind them. It does this for security reasons.

Have you tried logging on using the password that you stored (ignoring the issue that it "looks like its the wrong length"?

Hmmm...I'll try that now. On 9x it was always the same length as the asterisks, but I didn't know that about 2000.
