I've tried using the import/export, but I can choose just one item at a time to transfer. Is there anyway to capture the whole Favorites folder from one drive and importing it into another?

I've tried just copy/paste, but then the bookmarks do not show up in the Favorites list. Closest I've come is to copy/paste folder into my Desktop and use it as a regular folder/files.

Maybe I am not understanding this correctly.
Can't you just go to Windows Explorer and go to Your C drive/Documents and Setting folder and then either your name or one of the folders here that has your info. Administrators/ All Users/ Or your name and then the FAVORITES folder here and copy.
Then just copy that folder into your other drive or whatever you want done with it?

i wouldn't use "all users", your name.

yes but it's got to be into the docs settings/you/favorites folder to be seen when you select favorites in internet explorer.

It doesn't look like the Import/Export can handle folders, only the individual files.

I'm actually wanting to do an import from drive-D to drive-C. Drive-D was my old drive-C.

When I do; File > Import and Export > I get the Import/Export Wizard.

I select for Import and chose my target on drive-D for the old Favorites folder. The problem is the wizard will not allow me to select folders. It will only select and import individual files.

Because I have so many, I was really hoping there was a batch method of getting the folders (with all their folders and files) to import into my current Favorites. Otherwise, I'm stuck doing it one file at a time.

If I copy/paste into the Favorites folder, the items are there, but will not show up on my browser's Favorites list.

What a pain!

you're not copying them into the favorites in docs/settings/you/favorites.

it sounds like you created a new folder and drug them into it, which doesn't work.

Hi Et Al

When choosing the Export option in Internet Explorer, does the Favorites folder not show at the top already selected?
