Hi all,

Got a quick sharepoint question that I am hoping some guru can help me out with. I just depolyed SPS 2003 and opened it up in frontpage. I next opened up one of the file folders just to look around at the default, out of the box options (which are sweet!), but had one question. I noticed that there is also a "reports" tab available that lists out relevant stats towards the site, which would be very helpful if I could get end users to be able to view this technology. Is there some way / program that can be used to make these reports available without having clients go into frontpage etc. (which could be disasterous!). Is this just a frontpage option, only available to the client throught that workflow, or is there a work around so that I can display these to the end user? Thanks in advance, and advice would be sweet! Thanks again!

:UPDATE: After doing some research, I guess the real question I have is it possible to export usage reports (such as the one in frontpage), without having to manually go through and save them page by page.

They aren't generated out of front page, look in the SharePoint admin pages and you will see all of the reports available directly through the web interface. Look in the user account setup, I bet there is a section to allow for users to access certain reporting features.

Well the reason is because there are going to be several collobrative team sites that will want to see how many hits their specific site is getting. Also, people such as management want to know which sub sites are getting traffic so they now which ones that they can eliminate/create. I just like the reports that are generated out of frontpage and was wondering if there was some application that can make them available to the client in aggregate.

I am not sure what FrontPage has to do with SharePoint reporting at all. If you are logged in as admin you can access all of the site statistics you want in your browser. I am also not sure why you would want to give every day users access to the reports, all they show is site usage, etc. This is all administrative functionality that isn't really realevent to the end user.
