I need some advice please. I have a friend who is not computer wise. I am often going over to his house to fix problems, ie updating av or showing how to use programs. Is there a simple basic software program I can use to install on both pc's so I can access his pc from my home. Basically so I dont have to drive over there anymore. any comments or advice welcome. thank you.

If you are both running Windows XP, you can use Remote Assistance, which is already on your machine:

I have never used it personally, I offer this for your consideration. It does require that Windows Messenger be active.

I prefer to use UltraVNC.
