Well, your picture in the link is bad, what would it look like if I could see it?

I'd like to see exactly how it's listed in Disk Management. I assume that it has no errors in Device Manager, right?

The Seagate Drive is listed as functioning in both Computer Management and Drive Management, but no longer has a drive letter assigned to it. The Drive does not show in "My Computer".

Glad it worked like it said and that the problem is now solved. Thanks for posting back. And no wasted time at all, especially if that's what took care of it. Sometimes the detailed information on how to do something is all we need.

Bob Cerelli, Yes just after I posted and just before I read your post. It worked as it said.
Seems if I had drilled down a little I wouldn't have wasted your's and JohnWills time.

Have you tried assigning a drive letter to the disk in Disk Management?
