Does anyone here know anything about CSS using Dreamweaver MX?

Let me know before I type out the whole question for nothing. Thanks.

I have a a.hover css in my blue/white page. When I roll over the links (on a blue background) the links turn white. Now in the middle of the page I have links that have a white background and I want them to turn blue. See Here

How can I put 2 different a.hover styles on the same page without affecting each other?

Well, that turned out to be much easier then I thought! And to think I spent the whole morning looking through my book trying to figure it out. Thanks a bunch.

They are the same as any other CSS editor. It is pretty limited in Dreamweaver but it works very well for editing existing style sheets. TopStyle was my favorite that came with Home Site.

that minght or mightn't (love living in Ireland with words like that) solve the issue of others seeing it, but not the issue of it happening.

I don't have that happening with mine, and my Body statement (same as Page Properties) uses only a css class.

Post a link and we can look at it.

would also be useful to post the example in your css for the class defined in your Body tag.

Hi

When I use an external style sheet with Dreamweaver to control a black background, the page flashes white as it loads

Anyone else experience this or no if I am doing something wrong?

You know how to define the classes in your tag now?

Thanks - I tried that but still happens

Seems to be an Explorer on Mac OS X thing

Have now tested on Netscape/Safari and Explorer on OS9 and it works fine
