Hi.

I apologize if this has been covered before.

I'm building a very basic table (1 column, 400px wide) to contain an article. I paste and format the text and start inserting other 1 row, 1 column tables to contain pictures and captions.

After each picture/caption table, I preview in IE and on about the 3rd one, the overall table expands to around 600px and all the formatting's messed up.

Is there a way I can set the overall table to a fixed width of 400px?

There's probably something really simple that I'm overlooking or forgetting but I'm under a deadline crunch and it's hard to think clearly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
