Help! I have a PCline w310 webcam, but the driver disk will not install. I can't ring the helpline because of call barring on our phoneline.<br />   Everytime I follow the directions to install the software I always end up getting a dialogue box that says:&quot;File could not be opened/ The directory or file cannot be created&quot; Please help me!!

From PC World on special offer, was it?<br /><br />My drivers *kind of* work, though the actual setup program crashes, and the camera has to be next to your mouth for the mic to pick up any sound, unless you shout).<br /><br />On the whole, it's crap, and is going back to the shop today.<br /><br />I'll spend a little more on a priduct that has some form of online support, proper drivers, or at least a support policy that does not risk a 15 phone call.<br /><br />Judging by the fact that every Google result on this non-brand seems to be the same question as yours, I'm not wasting any more time on it!<br /><br />Dave
