Hi all,<br /><br />Does anyone have a driver for the PCI Serial Port for Windows XP? This is for my modem, I tried the original modem disk but it says &quot;no hardware info found&quot;. <br /><br /><br />Help!<br />Julie

Not a driver, but you should probably know that this type of problem with a) a modem and b) Windows XP usually is sign of problems with the modem itself... don't divert your attention.

hi the problem is a driver i think, my modem used to do exactly the same thing, when i install the driver to the device (shown as a yellow ?) then the system recognises the modem and crries on ok mine was a intel v92 fax data mosem i believe made by chaintech however i cannot see any name on it (thats what windows calls it), hope this helps if you need the driver then i do have a copy and i can mail it to you it is about 2mbs if i remember correctly, incidentally everytime i reinstall i have to reinstall the driver, i have broadband now but as i say you are welcome to a copy it is an intel generic driver or go to intel and download it from them
