How does dual boot work I know you can partition the hard-drive in 2 and put 2 OS' on it like Windows 98 on one and Windows XP on the other partition and when you boot up the computer you can click on the one to go into.
Also if you delete a partition all your work and programs will be gone.Can you have one partition FAT32 and other NTFS.Also it good to delete a partition if you get malware on the computer because just re-loading the windows the malware may come back.
Just make sure you have a boot disk or you in big trouble because you cannot partition or format a computer with out it.Well PartitionMagic is good tool but too much money $$$ .
Well I had computer in the house had I cannot find my boot disk with Fdisk/format on it so I cannot boot from my floppy disk
This computers has bean like this for 8 years not in use because of this.
