I have this win98se computer with scsi 9.0gb hard drive , new scsi adapter, 256MB of ram. intel pentium 2 processor. The cd-rom is also scsi. I've tried to install the operating system (CD) and get to windows setup and then I get :Setup cannot install win98 on your computer. An error occurred while creating partitions on your hard disk. I tried to create an ms-dos boot partition to set up windows but then it told me that I had NOdiskspace. This is a new hard drive. Can anyone HELP!

Love my life!!

Hi there:

Maybe you could give this a try if you have'nt yet.

Assuming you have formatted your computer

restart computer in dosmode
use fdisk command to delete the partition and create a new one

Thats very odd I must say.Hopefully someone on here will be able to resolve your problem as I am very sorry to say but at the moment I cant think what the problem would be off hand. Did you format your computer? If not it may be worth a try.

I've tried FDISK to delete partitions but it tells me I have no partitions to delete.
