I recently installed Kodak Easy Share software on my Windows 98se system. It changed my graphic file associations so that BMP, JPG and GIF images are opened and displayed by this program. I want these to go back to MSPAINT as the program that opens these files. I went to MY COMPUTER - VIEW - FILE OPTIONS, but I didn't see BMP, JPG or GIF listed in the registered file types. How can I get them back and associate them with MS PAINT?

Try this:

Open up Kodak easy share and then look for the tools option from across the top and click on it. Then select preferences from the drop-down list. From the next window, select the file association tab and uncheck the file extensions that you do not want Kodak to use it's software with. This should restore the default (Microsoft) settings to those extensions. I don't know what version of Kodak software you are using but this is based on version 5.1.
