Hello, I am using Microsoft Outlook, not so long ago, I installed my purchased Adobe Acrobat program, it added to this e-mail program, some new tabs refering to adobe converting things, problem is- when I close outlook, after 10-25 seconds a error message appears, that outlook had a problem and needs to close. It is offering me then restart outlook, but I closed outlook by myself.. I don't get it, on other microsoft office programms this problem ain't .

yeah, I forgot to add information about what adobe product i have and what system.
So, here it is:
System on my computer - Windows XP Professional SP2
Microsoft Office 2003
Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional (full version, with text editing and comment posting in document etc.) (not the newest version of acrobat 8)

My adobe acrobat 7 automatically downloaded the newest updates from internet when i installed it, but there is the same problem with that outlook every time i close it. I checked that link you posted earlier here before everything seemed ok from checking text. Before i bought Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional i used Adobe reader 7, which was working also fine, but no problems with outlook wasn't, this problem showed up only after i installed my Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional program, in otlook there was new tab named adobe pfd, where i could convert e-mail messages into pfd format file, but it has been added in all Microsoft office products, and other programs like Microsoft Word or excel or power point or publisher are working fine, and when i close those programs no error occurs and is not giving me log and advice to restart program.

No mention in rectore' s post of a referral to Symantec, but as I noted earlier, not much info to go by. I assume that is the problem you are having, allback (incidentally, welcome to the forum!) and I hope it worked for you. We'll have to wait and see what rectore has to say.

From Symantec Technical Support

Outlook 2003 shows errors on closing and refers you to Symantec Technical Support
Situation:
When you close Outlook 2003, you see error messages and a Microsoft Error Report that refers you to Symantec Technical Support. You have WinFax PRO 10.03 installed.

Solution:Symantec has confirmed this situation to be an issue with WinFax PRO 10.03. We do not have information at this time about whether or when a fix may become available. In the meantime, one of the following workarounds might resolve the problem.

To fix the problem, remove the WinFax Fax Log integration from Outlook 2003. After completing this process, you can still send faxes by email.

After you remove the WinFax Fax log integration, you cannot view the WinFax logs from within Outlook 2003. To view the WinFax send and receive logs, open the WinFax Message Manager.

To remove WinFax Fax Log integration

Close Outlook 2003.
In the Windows Control Panel, click Mail > Data Files.
Click WinFax Fax Logs > Remove > Yes > Close.
Close Outlook 2003.
Open Outlook 2003 and test to find out whether the problem is gone.

Well, if a reboot doesn't fix things (always the first "cure" for MS products) you may have a damaged user profile.
