Hi. Im a 17 year old with a Compaq Presario V3000. Its 2 weeks old. Im not a very computer person. I dont know all those big terms so it would be great if you put it easier for me.

IE7 was working fine since today. When my laptop had a system error (the screen went blue and it was enumerating files and stuff), it had to restart the computer. Then when I turned the laptop back on, iexplorer.exe was missing. So I tried uninstalling IE7, it wasnt in the list of programs. Then I tried reinstalling it, the administrator thing would open (the allow and cancel option where screen gets dim), but the installation program never opened.

So I got a IE7 installation program from my other computer. Then it keeps having an error when its "Installing Administration Kit Components".

Could anyone advise me on what to do to fix this? Thank God I had a firefox installation program. Sorry if I seem dumb in my descriptions.
