I'm in high school and at my school the web developers block everything I heard that there is away around blocked web sites by doing something with internet proxying? I searched it on google, but got nothing promising. Does anyone know what I am talking about and how to do it?

You tyrants can't keep the internet locked from us, the students, forever. The internet should be free for everyone.

Oh come on. It is not like everyone wants to go to porn sites in the middle of the day. Some people are abusive of the system, but they shouldn't be allowed to use the computer if they abuse the system, which can be tracked with keylogging software, which my school uses AND you don't pay for my school internet connection unless you live in my district.

Yes, and Yes but I will not tell you how to do it. I work for a school district and it is my job to keep you safe.

The rules are there for a reason and the students should respect that

My tax dollars pay for your school's internet connection. I think we have a right to block whatever we want. You would probably be real scared if you were on my friends network. He is also a school administrator. They have a network keylogger, that logs every keystroke of every student all day long.

Well you could have just said because I don't live in your state. If you are in Wisconsin, yes I do pay for your Internet Connection no matter what public school you go to and no matter where I live in the state.

I don't know how other states pay for their school systems or how they divide their tax dollars but in Wisconsin, every public school that I know of goes thru the states Internet connection down in Madison. Everyone has a dedicated router that goes from the school to the computer systems in Madison. Even if you can bypass your schools proxy server you still end up going thru the States proxy server. One of them is going to block it.

Because it makes my life easier and you really don't want to know how we punish students for breaking the Computer Use agreement.
