I have XP Home, SP2, O/E and I/E for the Internet.
For some time now (from about 5 months ago) I have been getting this error message and am timed out after 5 minutes with larger emails in O/E. It won't even let me download anything over 5Mgs and for MOST emails over 1 mg, I have to go into my Webmail with Optusnet to read the larger ones and then try and save anything that I want. If it is trying to download a larger one, then it won't download any others, the large one blocks it and I am timed out constantly. My Server Optus, says it is something in my computer, not their fault, but it is getting to be darned nuisance always going into Webmail to access my mail all the time.
I have googled the Error No,and there are solutions saying to Download a Registry tool to fix it, but they always turn out to be FREE scans and then you pay to get the Fix, are there any Free ones that will do the Job, please?? Or can anyone help me with a solution, many thanks.

Thanks for response Rebon, I had just about come to that conclusion myself, but am not sure if everything that I have in O/E will be re-installed, do you know if it will, in the instructions I read, it made mention of getting everything back, but that was for other versions of Windows, XP instructions don't make mention of it at all??
