I am unable to view some content on webpages I visit. The content is blank with a red check on the upper left hand corner. I checked to see if I had a flash media viewer and I do, Adobe. Is there some other variables that I might check to see if the content will appear?

do the following test

for java go here
http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm
look for two things
1) the following text displayed
YES!...IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOU ARE JavaScript ENABLED!
2) black box with wiggling text

to test what version and if installed on PC Jave runtime http://www.javatester.org/version.html

reinstall java http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_automatic.jsp

Javascript is not the same as Java (ms Virtual machine and Sun Java) which are "applets"
