Im reading an article about DNS servers and such, and am not sure if this is true or not, isnt a proxy server simply a server that provides you a diffrent internet service that you can use to anonymously surf the web. Why would would need a proxy server to beable to connect to the internet. What does a transparent proxy have to do with a ISP.
