Hello All, I recently decided to reinstall Vista home premium 32 bit with a formatted drive, and everything has been going great... until I tried to reinstall the audio drivers for my motherboard. These same drivers worked just great before, and I'm unsure why they are causing issues now.

Specifically, this is for a P5N32-E SLI mother board with the sound add on that comes with it. Vista recognizes the audio component as a "PCI Device" and cannot find any drivers automatically for it. The motherboard CD, when attempting to install the sound drivers, says something along the lines of "Your hardware does not appear to be compatible with this driver software."

When I installed these drivers when I first bought the motherboard, vista simply recognized the drivers off of the motherboard CD and installed it automatically. No such dice this time around

Any ideas?

Have you tried the latest Vista audio drivers from the Asus website? http://support.asus.com/download/dow...=P5N32-E%20SLI
