I am being redirected and jumped whenever I click on a site that I have browsed. It usually is redirected to something pornographic of which I do not want to happen. I have very young children and do not want this to continue happening. I have used "Webroot" software, Ad-aware, and Windows Defender. All of which, found nothing. I have tried all of their suggestions and I am still having problems. I found your site and figured I would give you a try. Please, help!

Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish.
The fix will begin; follow the prompts.
You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so.
Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal.
Once the desktop loads Save the text that will open (report.txt) to your desktop.

1) Go to Start > Control Panel >Network Connections. Right click your default connection, usually Local Area Connection or Dial-up Connection if you are using Dial-up, and left click on Properties.
* Make a note of the settings before you change them just in case you need to put them back how they were.
Double-click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item and select the radio button that says Obtain DNS servers automatically. Click OK twice.

2) Go to Start > Run, enter CMD and click OK.

• At the Dos Prompt Screen, type in cd\ and then press <ENTER>.
• Now type in ipconfig /flushdns and then press <ENTER>. (notice the space after ipconfig)
• Close the command prompt window.

I could only find a "zeprtodm.dat" file in that directory, no ".exe". Is that what you meant? I took care of all the hidden file options.

How is everything running???

You have a file i would like you to get anaylzed. Please go to VirusTotal. On the very top of the Website, you will see a Browse button. Use that to search for this file c:\windows\system32\zeprtodm.exe. Then Click on Send. This could take between 30 Second-a couple of minutes. When you get the Results, Open Notepad, please highlight the results, copy them to Notepad and save it as "Scan.txt". Save the text file "Scan.txt " to your desktop. Please include the file in your next post.


Note: You may need to unhide hidden files and folders.
Configure Windows XP to show hide hidden files:
Click Start. Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. Select the View Tab.

Under the Hidden files and folders heading select "Show hidden files and folders".
Uncheck the "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)" option.
Uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" option.
Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.

Let it Place Hijackthis in C:\Program Files\Hijackthis
Open Hijackthis.exe
Click on Do a System Scan and Save log file
Don't Fix any Items!!!
Just copy and paste the contents of the log file to your reply.

Sorry for the delay, i just got back from parents house.

Open Hijackthis, Click Open the Misc tools section Then click the Open Uninstall Manager... button.
The Add/Remove Programs Manager panel should appear.
In this panel click the Save list button.
Save the uninstall_list.txt file to your desktop and copy and paste the contents back in your next reply.
