Step 1: Please download the following tools and check whether they can help to remove the virus:

Please run them and let me know the result. If the issue persists, please continue to follow the rest steps.

If you are using a cable modem or home LAN connection, please follow Step 2 and Step 3. If not, please skip step 2 and go to step 3 directly.

Step 2: Reboot the computer into Safe Mode with networking.

1. Restart the computer.

2. After "POST" (the Power On Self Test usually a text mode screen at the beginning when a system boots up), keep pressing the F8 key until the Windows Startup menu appears.

3. Choose "Safe Mode with Networking", and press Enter.

NOTE: In Safe Mode, your system display and desktop will look and perform differently than in Normal Mode. This is only temporary. To go back to Normal Mode, we just need to restart the computer.

Step 3: Performing a Full Service Scan.

1. Please open Internet Explorer and go to http://safety.live.com.
2. Please click the button of "Full Service Scan", wait until the scan finishes. Please let me know whether the virus can be removed by this online scan tool.
