Reinstall and Update sound card driver (Microsoft Windows XP->Driver installation)

Reinstall sound card driver
=====================
1. Click Start, click Run, type in "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
2. In Device Manager, double click to expand the "Sound, video and Game controllers" branch.
3. Right click your sound card listed under "Sound, video and Game controllers", and click Uninstall to uninstall the driver.
4. Restart the computer and XP will reinstall the sound card driver automatically.

Update sound card driver
=====================
1. Click Start, click Run, type in "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
2. In Device Manager, double click to expand the "Sound, video and Game controllers" branch.
3. Right click your sound card listed under "Sound, video and Game controllers", and choose Update Driver.
4. Follow the instructions to finish updating your sound card driver.
5. Restart the computer.
