How to remove virus manually (Microsoft Windows XP->Virus cleaning)

If we know the location of the virus but cannot remove it. We can try to remove it in Safe Mode.

Step 1: Boot into Safe Mode
======================
In order to narrow down the cause of the issue more efficiently, let's restart the computer in Safe Mode to see if the problem also occurs in the mode that loads the system with the minimum amount of programs and devices. Please follow the instructions below:

1. Restart your computer and start pressing the F8 key on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured for booting to Multiple Operating Systems, you can press the F8 key when you see the boot menu.
2. When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select Safe Mode, and then press Enter.
3. Log onto Windows by using the Administrator account or any user account with Administrator privileges.

Step 2: Remove the virus infected files
=======================

1. Please locate the virus.

2. Right click on it click Delete.

After removing all the infected files, please reboot the computer in Normal Mode and check the result.
